Dear Internet User: I am a long-term prisoner who has been incarcerated since Septmeber of 1988. I'm serving a sentence of nearly twenty-eight years for this first-time nonviolent offense. My release date does not come until 2012, and I am turning to you for support. I am a native of Jamaica and need assistance in overcoming some of the problems my conviction has given me. I have five children in the United States, but as a result of my conviction, the government will try to deport me upon the completion of my term. I need assistance from American citizens to help me remain here. I have excellent working skills in that I am a trained journeyman electrician. There is no question that I can earn a living in this country. Besides my trade, during the several years that I've been confined I've developed skills through various courses in which I've studied. My hopes are to return to college to further my studies. I seek any available support from internet users to help me make further studies and preparations for release possible to me. In the other areas of this personal web site, I will provide all the details of my offense, and the very difficult circumstances under which I've had to serve this sentence. I urge you to review those areas of my site so that you can develop a complete picture of who I am. I am confident that those who take a look at my life will find that this lengthy sentence is not warranted in my case. I am a hard-working family man with no history of violence. I'm looking for support from people who can help me overcome my legal problems and from people who can help me continue my efforts to prepare myself for the future. Please write me directly if you're interested in working with me. You will find me an enthusiastic correspondent, one who welcomes the privilege of building a relationship with you. Sincerely, Courtney L. Fuller
