In the process of purifying gold, lead is melted with the ore and then drawn off along with the impurities leaving pure gold!
This incarceration is my lead which I use to my benefit and advantage. I am not being punished, I am being “purified”!
Circumstances and situations neither make nor break us because in striving for higher heights we create them both. In short, I’m a man under construction in a constant state of “becoming. ”
My outer self you can see in my photo but what you can’t see is this: I’m intelligent, creative, positive, joyous, passionate, honest, loyal, strong, down-to-earth, compassionate, confident and, above all else, I am at peace with myself.
I’m spiritual, not religious, dominant not domineering as there is a big difference. “If you are all those wonderful things. . . then why are you in prison”. . . ? It’s because I’m not a blind follower. . . and don’t run with the herd!
Win or lose I carve my own path and in that alone I never truly lose. My favorite quote is: “Ready must thou be to burn thyself in thine own flame; how couldest thou become NEW if thou hath not first become ashes. ”
Friendship is the foundation of a good relationship and in this situation I can only offer my friendship to another.
